What makes the difference between a student who is willing to try versus one who feels helpless? How do learners develop the grit and resilience needed to build new skills? This 90-minute workshop provides an overview of self-efficacy, how it impacts student development, and how can we nurture self-efficacious behavior in the classroom.  Participants will engage with the material, and each other, and leave with new ideas to create more opportunities for self-determination, autonomy, and mastery in their learning environment.

CLTA-WA members in good standing (July 1st, 2020-June 30, 2021) will have exclusive access to post-webinar materials (presenter-shared ppt slides in pdf or ppt form, and/or video recordings released with presenters’ consent).  Members can also access member-only material from previous workshops at https://jxi.ywi.mybluehost.me/workshop-resources-members-only/ with the password given in 2020-2021 membership confirmation email.
